First Annual MMM Chili Cook-Off on September 30, 2007

On September 30, 2007, we presented our first Annual Chili Cook-Off. The MMM would like to thank the eleven chefs who volunteered their time and chili for sampling and sale. They were Barry Beck, Val Clewley, Jeffry Jahn, Aaron Malkin, Hal Maynard, Jake Nickell, Dennis Nordeen, Emory Sena, Tom Slusser, Roger Still, and Bill Weiss.

The congregation tasted chili, voted for their favorites, and the winners were...

Aaron Malkin - Best Overall Chili (Holy Smoke Chili)

Emory Sena - Hottest Chili (Gobble This! Turkey Chili)

Hal Maynard - Most Unique Chili (Verde Pollo Chili)

All proceeds went to the MMM to help them begin their "Mercy Projects." Again, thanks to all who participated in this hearty fund raising event! A special thanks to Doug Putnam for taking our pictures. You can see additional pictures from the Chili Cook-Off here.
